What is RaiseRight?
Gift card fundraising at its best! Buy gift cards from your favorite brands and earn on everyday purchases such as groceries, gas, dining out, that morning coffee, or even your family’s summer vacation. Shop, redeem, and track your gift cards right from your phone. You can also earn while dining at more than 20,000 participating restaurants nationwide, so every meal out helps support the band whether you are at home or on the road. It’s fast, easy, and incredibly convenient!
How it works:
Buy a Gift Card
Choose from over 750 popular brands, with options for eGift cards (available immediately), physical gift cards, and reloadable gift cards. You pay the full value (for example, $50 for a $50 gift card) and still help the band. For every gift card purchased, a percentage rebate - up to 20% - is provided by the gift card brand as their way of supporting organizations like the Oscar Smith Band Boosters Club.
Shop Online
Log in at RaiseRight.com or the mobile app and select the Shop Online tab to browse brands, shop directly on their websites, and earn on your purchases. On average, users who shop online with RaiseRight earn 6% more on top of their gift card earnings!
Local Dining
Link a credit or debit card and earn 5% back on your entire bill (tax and tip included) at participating restaurants nationwide. You can dine and earn near home or while traveling for vacations, tournaments, field trips, and more. Unlike other reward programs, there's no need to activate individual offers - link your card once, and you're set to start earning. Plus, paying for meals with a linked credit card means means you'll get dining earnings and credit card rewards!
Step 1: Sign Up for an Account
Click the "Join a Program" button.
Enter your First Name, Last Name, and your Student’s Name (for tracking purposes).
Create your account using a valid email and password.
Enter and verify your phone number for two-step verification (this protects your account in case of a forgotten password or unauthorized access).
Step 2: Set Up Online Payment
Option 1 – Link Your Bank Account (most popular and secure)
From your Account page, go to Settings > Payment Options > Add Bank Account.
There is a $0.29 fee per transaction/order (you can order multiple gift cards in one transaction).
This method allows instant access to eGift cards and reloadable funds.
Option 2 – Pay with Credit Card
Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are accepted.
Cards can be saved at checkout for future purchases.
There is a 2.6% fee per transaction.
This option is convenient and still provides instant access to eGift cards and reloadable funds, but note that the transaction fee will slightly reduce earnings.
Step 3: Start Earning
Option 1 - Gift Cards
Purchase gift cards and use them for your everyday shopping or dining to earn funds for the Oscar Smith Band Boosters.
Option 2 - Shop Online
Visit the Shop Online tab on RaiseRight.com or the mobile app to view brands that offer online earnings. Select a brand, click the “Shop Now” button on the brand's detail page, shop directly on their website, and earn by completing a purchase. For many brands, you can earn extra by using a gift card from RaiseRight as payment.
Option 3 - Local Dining
In the RaiseRight mobile app, tap the Local Dining icon in the bottom navigation menu to find participating restaurants by city, state, or zip code, and enable location services for fast and easy discovery. Once you link a card, you're set to earn 5% on dine-in and take out orders.
