The Oscar Smith High School band program is made up of students who dedicate countless hours throughout the year to practicing, performing, and growing as musicians and as a team. From marching at football games to participating in parades and competitions, these young artists demonstrate incredible discipline, teamwork, and passion for music.
Last year, our students had the unforgettable opportunity to attend the Drum Corps International (DCI) event NightBEAT, gaining inspiration and experiencing the energy of world-class performances.
This year, we are fundraising to give our students the chance to go on another memorable trip. We have set a fundraising goal of $5,000 to assist in covering transportation, accommodations, and meals, ensuring that the students have a chance to participate in this memorable experience. Every donation, whether large or small, brings us closer to making this trip a reality and shows these students that their efforts are recognized and celebrated. In the event the trip cannot take place, all funds will still be used to support the students through other educational and musical opportunities.
